Why am I not receiving a push notification?

There could be different reasons for this.

1. Have you downloaded the SDUI app from the AppStore to your mobile phone?

If you use SDUI in a browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari), you will not receive a push notification. These are only possible from the app.

2. Are you logged into Sdui?

If you log out of SDUI on your mobile phone, you cannot receive a push notification. Similar to WhatsApp, the application needs to stay open in the background so that you can receive notifications.

3. Have you activated notifications in the Sdui app?

In the Sdui app, go to Settings using the drop-down menu in the top right corner. There you select the sub-item “Notifications”.

Here you can now set the events for which you want a push notification. You can choose between “News & Announcements” and “Groups & Individual Chats”.

4. Have you allowed push notifications on the mobile phone for the SDUI app?

To do this, open your mobile phone settings and check whether you have allowed notifications for Sdui.

If all conditions are met and you still do not receive a push notification, then reinstall the SDUI app from the AppStore / PlayStore. In most cases, this solves the problem.
